In a seventy two hour period of time, the Finns have pasted the Americans and Canadians in warm-up matches in Ufa.

The game was total Armiageddon and the Americans are lucky they didn't have to face the terror known as Freakorenko.

Had Pettersson gotten up and been fine after the hit, I'm sure it only would've been a 2-minute minor for charging. I'm sure there was no intention on Jenner's part to injure Pettersson, but it was a bit late. I hope Pettersson recovers as soon as possible, but this isn't worthy of a suspension. It wasn't blind side, nor was it a hit to the head.

Normally it wouldn't be, but Canada faced a similar situation with kassian last year (he injured the guy as well). His hit wasn't that dirty (shoulder to high chest) but the IIHF hammered for the hit being "very late". They gave him something like 4 games if I remember correctly so I assume they will probably do the same here.

Just saw the hit, not dirty. But a little late. Because the IIHF is sco strict, I say he gets 2 games. He comes back against the US.

Exactly. It's clean but late. Same goes for the Kassian hit you put up.

Late to the point where the hit didn't need to be made, in both instances.

Plus the media just found out that Pattersson has a dilocated shoulder and fractured wrsit. So Jenner should expect to miss some time.

I'm sure he'll get suspended but a little of the blame needs to go to Pettersson. Don't admire your pass pal.....they teach you that in peewee.

Doesnt matter. The hit was late. Even if he didnt admire his pass and caught a glimpse of Jenner and got hurt. Jenner would of received the same penalty and the possible suspension.

Yes, I forgot to add that I have the feeling that they will suspend him. Another reason is because Jenner was suspended 1 game last year, so they will consider him a repeat offender.

I bet he gets at least 3 games since Canada's first two games are against Germany and Slovakia. Since both of those games will likely be blow outs, they will suspend him for the third game, since it's an important one against USA.
